Oh.. it's just how life is...

So there always seems to be a time of year where everything goes wild. Things that you never expect to happen do, whether good or bad. People break up, boy/girlfriends do unexpected things both good and bad. School becomes more crazy then ever before. Yet, when you look at the simple things you realize what is truely worth it. You don't have to change who you are to make someone else happy. They should love and confide in you no matter what! It's a time of compassion and childhood. Ignore school, and stupid people who only care about themselves. Look at everything that means a little something to you.

My little second cousins at my a family Scottish wedding. Aren't they just soo cute!

Well we have moved.. finally over in the new house! It is wierd being out in the middle of no where but sorta peaceful at the same time. Last night we had a little get together at Al's house - it was fun and people actually showed up! Well the picture is from the Centennial Fireworks right before Ally left for school! Miss you! Well not much else is new and exciting. Happy Thanksgiving!

Joe Normal!

Joe Normal
39 % Nerd, 26% Geek, 17% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject,
often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social
expectations/interactions.

You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don't have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside
of you--we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right
above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so
much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek
now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the
day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street
even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the
most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren't much of an
outcast.

A memorable experience

Well last night, with Ally, Brodie and Terrence, I went to see Bleed the Dream. They, to my astonishment, were actually really good. I was shocked to say the least. But the thing I most liked about the bad, was how proud they are of what they do. They had lost a member of thier band to cancer and made sure that his legacy in the band was known. It is really something spectacular.

It is that time of year...

So .. it's that time of year.. School! It seems that once you are finished in April, time flies by. It is impossible to get to see and do everything you planned on. You end up working all summer, and never being able to relax the way you should. It seems that with summer, lives become more complicated. People come and go from your life. You make new friends and loss old ones. You question what is and what should be.. the way you planned your life to be. Why is it that certain people/things can change your perspective on life? It is as if it just happens and the next thing you know, your confused. Life is so unexpected in so many ways. It is suppose to keep you calm, but it never seems to follow the right path. This summer I learned one thing - Never turn your back on unexpected things, they generally are the best part of life!

Schools out for summer!

Well, thats it for most people. School is done for the summer!
It seems that you try so hard for those last two weeks and then once it is all done, it doesn't even matter what your marks are. It is more important to just be finished. Prof's aggrevate you and pester you to finish everything and try your hardest, but in the end they can decide if you pass or fail. They could like you more on the day they post the marks and make them higher, or vice versa. Its school and wow how I can't wait to be done, yet there is so much to go!

Thats all for now.

Enjoy life whether your in school or not! Its too short to waste!
